Covering for a 3 month leave of absence: Inventory and Logistics Coordinator The Inventory and Logistics Coordinator processes, verifies and maintains accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments under the supervision of management. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and process non-EDI and EDI purchase orders, timely and accurately to meet customer needs.
- Overseeing distribution of sample orders for internal and external customers, by packing, sealing and labeling to prepare for shipment using office tools.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
- Invoice data entry to QuickBooks
- Record shipment data, such as weight, dimensions, damages, discrepancies for reporting or recordkeeping purposes.
- Regularly communicates with 3PL vendors.
- Prepare documents for export permits and orders for all Canadian purchase orders.
- Adheres to all Company policies, procedures and business ethic codes and represents the company in a professional manner.
- Performs other additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Some college or Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, import/export, and distribution of goods environment.
- Adaptable and flexible; responsive and resourceful in a fast-paced, quick turn business model.
- Organized, detail-oriented and manage multiple tasks.
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills related to duties and responsibilities.
- Proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- EDI (SPS Commerce) and QuickBooks experience a plus.
- Ability to commute to the office.
