Job Summary
The Loss Prevention (LP) Specialist position will be utilized to maintain all LP responsibilities within 2 Retail Locations. (Multi-Unit) Loss Prevention Specialists are key players in providing physical Security, loss/shrink prevention, inventory management and operational control effectiveness. They work across all store shifts and cover all control functions for regular oversight activities.
Job Description
- Experience Required: 1 to 3 years Loss Prevention, Asset Protection experience
- Experience Desired: Retail or Warehouse LP experience
- Education Desired: High school diploma
- Travel Required: Regional - Daily, More than 50% between 2 stores in the Cleveland area
Job Responsibilities
- Manage security and shrink performance.
- Control physical security of RSC/Store locations
- Utilize CCTV periodically to ensure compliance to company policies in effort to reduce product theft.
- Structure shiftwork to cover all critical control activities.
- Perform core security and loss avoidance tasks, including: suspicious activity review, report and response execution, inventory management process oversight and control validation, high-volume self-checkout exception monitoring
- Support RLPM/HR with Team Member removals
- Build relationship with local Law Enforcement
- Design audit system to be installed and followed. Audits include but not limited to: Loss Prevention, Safety, Auto Replenishment, SWAT, Door seals, trailers, known/unknown loss. Accuracy checks to be conducted and results shared weekly with RSC Staff/Store Leadership/RLPM
- Shrink line-item and account ownership. Auto Replenishment, known/unknown loss, markdown, scorecard, DSD extended invoice, inventory tracking/GP, GXS.
- Co-lead store shrink committee with Store Leader/RSC Leadership and enforce shrink management accountability & performance. Receiving and inventory management process, oversight, and control validation.
- Identify suspicious activity/behavior regarding: team member, customer, and vendors. Share results of all investigations with RLPM. Collaborate and conduct interview with HR/RSC Manager/TM with RLPM approval
- Analyze Emergency response system and assist in full execution
