Lot Attendant/Porter - Monaco Ford : Job Details

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking individual to join our team at Monaco Ford as a Lot Attendant. The Lot Attendant will perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, organization, and appearance of the dealership lot. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The lot attendant will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall appearance and customer satisfaction at Monaco Ford. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm with an hour for lunch. Compensation & BenefitsThis is a full-time hourly position with a starting pay rate of $17 per hour plus overtime, paid weekly. Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory appearance moving vehicles as directed by sales managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Maintain vehicle performance which may include, but is not limited to, minor cleaning to interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing vehicle fluids or replacing vehicle batteries as needed
• Inspect vehicles for damage and document/report findings
• Collaborate with sales and service departments to ensure a smooth workflow
• Deliver or retrieve vehicles to service lane, service stalls, or other areas of dealership lot as needed, including local lots off-site
• Installation of buyer guides and stock tags on vehicles
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to operate both manual and automatic vehicles
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures
• Professional attitude and the ability to deliver best-in-class customer service
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Comfortable working outside for long periods
• Physical ability to walk and stand for several hours per day
• Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
