THE JOB:As a Lounge Server at New York-New York, you'll be the face of exceptional hospitality, delivering WOW-worthy experiences with your friendly demeanor and top-notch service. By attentively understanding and anticipating guests' unique preferences, you'll create moments of joy and delight that make every visit unforgettable and leave a lasting impression long after they've left the lounge.STARTING RATE: $13.7504 plus tipsTHE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Efficiently take drink orders from guests before and during the show in the lounge, using both automated dispensing systems and traditional bar service techniques.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic options, and specialty cocktails available throughout the lounge.
• Quickly and accurately prepare and serve cocktails, ensuring perfect garnishing before delivering them to guests in all designated areas.
• Perform opening and closing duties such as organizing cocktail napkins, restocking supplies, checking cleanliness, and ensuring service areas are ready throughout the lounge.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work Schedule: Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.
• Cocktail Experience: Proven expertise in crafting and serving a variety of cocktails with precision and flair.
• Liquor and Alcohol Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various liquors, spirits, wines, and cocktails, with the ability to recommend and serve beverages that enhance the guest experience.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service background, with the ability to create personalized experiences and address guest needs promptly and professionally.
• POS System Proficiency: Experience using Point of Sale (POS) systems for order entry, payment processing, and managing transactions efficiently.
• Resort/Casino Experience: Familiarity with the dynamics of working in a resort or casino environment, adept at managing high-energy guest interactions.
