About the unit
Corewell Health Kentwood Family Medicine has an opening for a full time LPN. This LPN will join a friendly and dynamic team at our fast-paced Kentwood Family Practice office! Duties include supporting the incoming calls to triage messages, routing messages according to protocols, providing additional support for our nurse visit schedule with vaccine and medication administration for our office, and updating patient information in the electronic medical record. This role will be onsite at our Kentwood location 5 days per week. Once trained and fully competent, the role may include potential for the flexibility to work onsite 4 days per week with some hours worked from home.

Scope of work
Under the direction of the RN/Advanced Practice Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received, equipment being utilized, and other related activities as appropriate, in coordination with the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician. Documents care provided via computer/written patient record in a manner consistent with guidelines.
