LPN - Medix™ : Job Details

We are looking for LPN's looking to serve their community in a clinical setting, you will be providing medication and nursing assistance in the patient diagnosis, and providing the best medical care to all patients. We have full-time, part-time and per-diem positions available! Responsibilities:Assists the Head Nurse with exams, minor procedures, lab testsAccounting for medication dispensed to patients, reporting any deviations to the Head Nurse.Maintains medical charts, medical unit appointment book, daily visit log book.Performs the appropriate nursing follow-up care of patients.Patient follow-up medical and nursing care, including monitoring of urine toxicology.Assists in the performance of admission and physical examinations.Performs any tasks necessary to improve the quality of care, improve patient satisfaction with the medical/nursing care they receivePerforms tasks necessary to enhance reimbursement and reduce denials for services rendered.Performs phlebotomy, EKGs, immunizations, vital signs and assists in urine collection.Qualifications:LPN in NY NPI number, Medicaid and Medicare number required EMR experience Passionate about working with individuals who needed assistanceBilingual in English and Spanish a plus!!
