ACI Federal Inc. is actively recruiting experienced LPNs for a placement at a distinguished Rehabilitation & Nursing Center client in Vestal, NY. Local Hires ONLY! LPNs play a vital role in providing care and support to residents. They contribute to the overall well-being of residents by carrying out various clinical and administrative responsibilities. Job Duties: Assisting new residents in adjusting to the unit, philosophy, and goals of Willow Point Nursing Home. Reporting any accidents or changes in the resident's condition to the Charge Nurse and documenting on progress notes in the chart. Discussing clinical issues regarding resident care with the Charge Nurse. Collaborating as a member of the interdisciplinary team to prepare, implement, and evaluate the care plan. Observing, recording, and reporting progress or changes in the resident's condition. Updating the care plan as needed. Administering and dispensing medications (excluding IV) to residents, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Securing and accounting for controlled drugs. Maintaining nursing care and administrative records and reports. Attending staff meetings and participating in in-service programs. Minimum Qualifications: Completion of a course of study approved by the New York State Education Department, qualifying for Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in New York State. COVID vaccination required.
