Job Description :
Responsible for collaborating with other health professionals in organizing, implementing and evaluating quality of patient care. Perform specific nursing duties within the scope of practice as stated in the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas and the standards and expectations of the institutions, as supported by the mission, vision, and core values of the organization. Responsible for administering injections per physician orders, instrument cleaning & packaging, and exam room maintenance. Monitor inventory and order patient supplies for the prospective work area as required. Review and update vaccines in the Athena EHR. Assist the provider with procedures. Schedule and pre-authorize all outpatient diagnostic procedures and provider to provider referrals as needed. Coordinate provider schedules as necessary. Performs diagnostic testing: ECG's, Spirometry and ear irrigation as needed. Monitors, inventories and orders patient supplies for the prospective work area. Reviews and update vaccines in the Athena EHR. Assists the provider with procedures. Schedule and pre-authorize all outpatient diagnostic procedures, inpatient hospitalizations, and provider to provider referrals. Coordinate provider schedules as necessary.
