The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, market analysis expertise, and established relationships with timberland owners, sawmills, and forestry companies. Responsibilities include securing a steady, cost-effective supply of logs and lumber, monitoring market trends, ensuring compliance with sustainability standards, and coordinating transportation and inventory.Candidates should have a degree in Forestry, Business, or Supply Chain Management (preferred), at least three years of industry experience, and knowledge of timber grading, regulations, and procurement strategies. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Travel to supplier sites and mills required.
