Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for a contract opportunity with a nursing facility in Ohio on a as needed basis. The ideal LPNs will be required to assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.Job Quick Facts:* Ref#: BD-291-02* Profession: Licensed Practical Nurse* Location: Georgetown & Sandusky, Ohio* Service Setting: Nursing Home* Job Type: Contract* Start Date: ASAP* Shift/Schedule:8 hour shifts per day* Rate: $ 40/hrRequirements:* Ohio License* Registered with the Ohio Board of Nursing* CPR Certification* Knowledge of skilled licensed practical nursing procedures, pharmacology, patient care, first-aid, general hospital practices & procedures;Responsibilities:* Administering nursing care within a set forth scope of practice, includng administering oxygen, applying sterile dressing, etc* Assisting in emergencies by administering first-aid, performing cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, restraining patients* Maintaining medication accountability records (e.g., charts patient records, prepares & counts medication,etc )* Observing, documenting & reporting patient conditions and preparing &/or maintaining related reports & records* Providing general nursing, direct care &/or programming assistance* Providing work direction, orientation & training to lower-level direct care staff in providing general unskilled nursing care (e.g., dressing)* Orders medication & medical supplies; cleans nurses station & medication room/medication cart performs some clerical tasks
