#1stshift #firstinpeople POSITION SUMMARY: This position reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for fabrication and repair of equipment and items related to sanitary food manufacturing. This position has the responsibility to always comply with safety work rules as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures, and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed, and complied with uniformly, to reduce product and process variability. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Fabricate required equipment, conveyors, guards, piping etc. used in sanitary food manufacturing. Follow all plant safety, sanitation, and GMP requirements including USDA and OSHA for food and machinery safety manufacturing process. Work with departments to improve our process through repair, redesign, or manufacture. Improve or resolve ergonomics issues by redesign or manufacture.
