Job Purpose:The Office Price Book Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our team in the office and in the field.Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • New item set up - entering all information necessary to receive and sell items in Huck's stores. This includes warehouse and direct store delivery items.
  • Cost and retail changes - updating cost and retail for all items in Pricebook, both warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
  • Promotions - entering date sensitive cost and retail adjustments to ensure accuracy at store level. Examples of promotions are our monthly ad items, flyers and soda and beer pulse promotions.
  • Store Operations Support - trouble-shoot and repair inconsistencies in cost, retail, and authorizations at store level.
  • Reporting, reconciliation, and other general administrative duties as assigned.
  • Filing, answering phone and other clerical duties with the job.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED. One or two years related experience preferred.
  • Computer keyboard and navigation skills.
  • Enterprise Office System experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Microsoft Office, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Communication skills needed to interact with various internal departments as well as our vendor community.
  • Organizational skills are necessary. There are several routine and date sensitive aspects to this position.
  • This is an hourly full-time position, five (5) days per week.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information.
  • Be able to read, understand, and write the English language at the high school graduate level.
  • Be able to perform arithmetical calculations at the high school graduate level to be able to complete assigned reports, along with being able to calculate gross profits and retail points.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be very detail oriented.
  • Specific Visual Requirements - sufficient visual acuity to check invoices, reports, view computer screens and complete paperwork.

Management reserves the right to revise the job description and to require that other tasks be performed when the circumstances of the job change (for example, emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, or technical development).JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years of experience in gasoline, grocery, food service, or another retail business (or equivalent combination of education and experience).High School Diploma or (GED) is required.Bachelor s Degree in Marketing, Business, or Accounting is preferred.Must be detail oriented and have strong data entry skills.Basic math skills.Ability to read, listen, understand, and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing.Knowledge of convenience store products and packaging.Ability to perform and complete multiple priorities, projects, and tasks with accuracy and in a timely manner while working in a fast-paced environment.Excellent computer skills, utilizing all programs available to the department, including but not limited to PDI software, Microsoft Office including Excel, and web based applications.Ability to communicate effectively with multiple inside & outside sources and diverse groups at multiple levels.Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and follow-up.Must be a team player, self-motivated, and project a positive attitude.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Dependability and self-motivation are critical traits.
