Machine Apprentice, 3rd Shift (5day/8-hour) - Southern Champion Tray : Job Details

The Apprentice has the responsibility of the set up and operation of machine(s) according to the training plan to insure that quality products are achieved at a consistent rate of speed in accordance with machine standards maintaining strong communication with the Trainer. SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains procedures concerning operation unless the training program is changed and recorded in the training procedure Operate machine(s) in a consistent manner as instructed, maintain standard operating procedures. Learns to make machine adjustments in order to maintain machine at safety, quality, and production standards. Set up all gluers to precise measurements and alignments following the training plan within allotted time for next production run. At the beginning of each shift, check previous shift's report to determine status of run. Uses computer system to log productivity and remarks on job, accurately completes production report and record production data.
