- Builds components pertinent to the functions of the machines
- Knowledge of measuring skills and accurately read precision measuring instruments
- Intermediate understanding of blueprints and schematics
- Ability to comprehend job instructions
- Must possess basic hand tools
- Ability to wire junction boxes
- 2-3 years of machine building experience
- knowledge of welding (stick) and fabrication
- Experience with heavy rigging
- Ability to work independently without supervision on simple assemblies
