Machine Builder - Champion Personnel System : Job Details

Company Overview: Cleveland based company that has been at the forefront of high-quality machine tool production for over 100 years. Our 55,000 sq. ft. headquarters and manufacturing facility is located by the Airport on the West Side of town. We manufacturer CNC plasma cutting machines and flame cutting systems both unitized and gantry type. We manufacture waterjet X2, X3 and X4 models. We have been actively involved in the sheet metal and plate metal cutting equipment for over 25 years. We are a 4th generation family owned businessPosition Overview: You will be working in the machine building area. Reading off a print/schematics and assembling parts and building CNC Plasma Water Jet machines and CNC Plasma Cutting Machines. . This could include sub assembly units and other parts such as nozzles, control valves etc. Has to have a great understanding of both mechanical and electrical drawings. This includes both machine start up and trouble shooting existing machinery. Max lift by hand 50lbs. Will only work 1st shift (7a-3:30p). There are 30-40 other employees in the plant. Key Responsibilities:

• using hand and power tools to complete the tasks
• Use of Blueprints/Schmatics
• Building machinery from sub-assemblies
• Use of machines to fabricate parts
• Building a quality product for customers

Requirements:

• Must have a solid work history of previous Machine Building experience
• Know how to read and interrupt blueprints/schematics
• Mechanically inclined and trouebleshoot
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience out of a manufacturing facility
• Basic machinery experience to fabricate parts
