Machine Builder - Sterling Engineering : Job Details

Job DescriptionOverview: As a Machine Builder, you'll use your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment building large industrial machinery. There are three new openings at our client in Itasca, IL as they experience fast paced company growth. This position is eligible for contract (with benefit), contract to hire, or direct hire. Pay: $30-35/hr (Depending on experience) Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble and construct complex machinery and equipment with precision and attention to detail
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing machinery, implementing effective solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to maintain optimal performance
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards throughout the building process
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members on proper assembly technique

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine building or a related field
• Proven expertise in assembling and troubleshooting complex machinery
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards
• First shift, starting as early as 6 AM
