Machine Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Machine Design Engineer with 15-20 years of expertise in the design of power machines. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor and have a strong background in machine integration. This role involves taking conceptual designs from sketches to full-scale implementations and visiting customers for project assessments, which may require 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop machines for the heat exchange industry, including air conditioning units and heat exchangers.
• Collaborate on automation projects, contributing to system integration and assembly design.
• Transform initial concepts from sketches into detailed engineering designs.
• Conduct site visits to meet with customers and assess their requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 15-20 years of experience in machine design, with a focus on power machines.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $85,000 - $105,000
• Healthcare: Company funds 80%, employee 20%
• 401(k): 50% match on the first 7% contribution

• PTO: Starting at 56 hours of sick leave and 40 hours of vacation; 2 weeks and 2 days of vacation thereafter
