• Hands on experience in setting up the environment for a big data platform from scratch.
• Experience with containerized applications and cloud deployment.
• Technical and people leadership to gain trust and respect of engineering team.
• Excellent working knowledge of Python, Java, and Scala.
• Working knowledge of Spark and SparkSQL.
• Experience with NoSQL data stores such as Cassandra.
• Familiarity with Azure managed services will be a plus.
• Experience in working with global engineering teams in multiple locations will be a plus.
• Hands-on solution-driven attitude, with ability to provide tactical solutions and deliver strategic capabilities for various needs.
• Working knowledge of Data Governance and Data Quality Management in a big data platform.
