Machine Operator - 1st Shift - Frankcrum Staffing : Job Details

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Operator is responsible for performing all activities in the operation of equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded as management determines necessary.

• Reports to Supervisor. Takes direction from lead worker or set-up tech.
• Following instructions from process sheet, determine method of press operation.
• Visually inspect parts for defects and flashing.
• Trim parts with hand tools, as required.
• Report presses operation irregularities and stock adjustments to lead worker.
• Operate several presses, as required. Operate secondary operations as required.
• Perform housekeeping activities to maintain work area and assure cleanliness of environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):

• High School education or a GRE
• Must use shop mathematics and follow instructions
• Become proficient in company procedures and knowledgeable in opening all department equipment
• Safety protection must be worn as required
