Machine Operator - 3rd Shift - Cardinal Health : Job Details

Shift:Sunday-Thursday 11:30 pm-7:30 am. What Production Set-up and Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health. Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Production Setup and Maintenance sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment. Responsibilities:Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications. Determines sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup. Uses a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds.
