Responsible for machine set-up both manual and computer-driven. - Maintain quality production and safety standards. - Maintain high level of quality production by working to tolerance specifications of 0.50 millimeters. - Troubleshoot problems and make appropriate adjustments in order to recover as quickly as possible from mechanical failures. - Perform preventive maintenance on machines. - Review production schedules and related information and confer with supervision to determine material requirements, identify overdue orders and to track material/orders. - Monitor status of all past due orders. - Assist in the training of temporary/new employees. - Arrange in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules. - Enter/scan data into RS 6000 system. - Compile and maintain manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.
