Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSuccessfully and safely operates Hirsch and Boiler machines to produce a quality first pass and second pass bead. Ensures beads meet quality standards such as size and integrity requirements. POSITION DETAILS
  • Shift Times: 7:00AM - 3:30PM, Monday - Friday
  • Pay Schedule: Weekly
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Demonstrates the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks and interactions with others.
  • Safe and Efficient operation of the Boiler and all of its accessory equipment.
  • Monitoring of water softener and the chemical make-up of the Boiler water.
  • Successful operation of the Hirsch to produce a quality first, second, and third pass bead.
  • Monitoring of the bead size and integrity during assigned intervals.
  • Maintain recording of Bean Density Log and report Density Quality through testing to Comfort Research Quality Assurance.
  • Responsible for reporting, documenting and adjusting the process when Bean Density is outside either the upper and lower control limits.
  • Work with Supply Chain to coordinate and plan raw material schedule based on production schedule/forecast.
  • Oversee and monitor Preventative Maintenance Schedule for equipment.
  • Monitors on-hand and consumption rates of raw materials and works with Inventory Team to cycle count on-hand inventory of raw material and Finished Goods.
  • Works with Inventory Team on Receiving Process of raw material and ensures quality inspection is being accomplished and logged in accordance with current Comfort Research quality control process.
  • Adheres to strict Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures when required.
  • Rotation of bead inventory to assure we run based upon a FIFO concept.
  • Shares appropriate information with appropriate support Ambassadors of any mechanical problems and/or shortages that would interfere with production.
  • Maintains clean, safe working environment according to 5s and department safety guidelines.
  • Assist other Ambassadors as time permits.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of machine operation experience.
  • Ability to attain a Comfort Research Forklift license.
  • Basic level computer proficiency•Knowledge or ability to learn Warehouse Management System.
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus on Hirsch and movement of beads into tents.
  • Comfortable following step by step procedures without deviation.
  • Experience with lock out tag out procedures.
