Machine Operator - TechniPower : Job Details

Job DescriptionI have a client in the Dothan, AL area with an immediate need for a machine operator. In this role you will be responsible for o peration of fabricating machines that punch, shape, cut, bend and structure. This is a direct hire opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measure work piece dimensions, using rule, template, or other measuring instruments to determine.
• Accurate operation of machine.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece, using a file, wire brush or grinder.
• Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
• Assist machine operators in setting up machine.
• Ability to read blueprints
• Class A: Ficep , 48C, Combo Drills
• Class B: Drill Line, 2500, Peddiwriter , 1800, Angle Line, Bed Drill and Burn Table .
• Class C: Saw, Tag Machine, Radial Arm Drill, Perona Punch.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
