Machine Operator FULL-TIME $20/hr- Set up, operate, or tend machines such as blown film extruder, silicone coater, rewind/slitter, and auxiliary equipment to extrude and coat and convert flat films. - Observe machine operations, control boards, and gauges to detect malfunctions such as roll quality, silicone continuity and dimensional tolerances. Adjust machine controls, tensions, and operational parameters as necessary. - Load materials into extruding and coating machines, by proper weighing, and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates. - Start metering pumps and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure continuous flow of silicone coatings. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures to determine correct film production parameters and quality specifications. Record details of machine malfunctions. - Keep machinery and work area clean. Wipe finish rollers with cloths and wash finish trays with solvent when necessary. - Ensure quality of film and raw materials meets and exceeds customer and company standards with training in a lab as a QA tester.
