Machine Operator - PLASTIC MANUFACTURER : Job Details

Machine Operator FULL-TIME $20/hr- Set up, operate, or tend machines such as blown film extruder, silicone coater, rewind/slitter, and auxiliary equipment to extrude and coat and convert flat films. - Observe machine operations, control boards, and gauges to detect malfunctions such as roll quality, silicone continuity and dimensional tolerances. Adjust machine controls, tensions, and operational parameters as necessary. - Load materials into extruding and coating machines, by proper weighing, and adjust feed mechanisms to set feed rates. - Start metering pumps and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure continuous flow of silicone coatings. - Follow Standard Operating Procedures to determine correct film production parameters and quality specifications. Record details of machine malfunctions. - Keep machinery and work area clean. Wipe finish rollers with cloths and wash finish trays with solvent when necessary. - Ensure quality of film and raw materials meets and exceeds customer and company standards with training in a lab as a QA tester. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18+ years old

Has worked in a manufacturing facility for at least 1-2 years Be familiar with rulers, scales, gauges, and other measurement tools. Able to stand, bend, squat, lift 30 pounds. Pass a background check and drug screen. Dependable attendance, able to work holidays. Eligible to work in the U.S.
