MACHINE OPERATOR/PACKER - Berry Global : Job Details

Responsibilities will include: (but not limited to the following):Responsibility to safety procedures. Visually inspect, place into box (as necessary), and palletize finished goods to customer specifications. Use lifting assist device to where applicable. Tape and makes boxes for workcenters, insuring to keep the proper quantity available at all times. Monitor quality (deviations, comparing comparators)Document daily production values, including scrap quantities and reasons. Operate pallet jack. Cleaning/housekeeping; sweeping, cleaning machines. Stack cartons from 25-40 #'s on pallets. Pushing/pulling full pallets on pallet jack and transport to elevator. Maintain assigned area in a fashion consistent with 5 S principals. Notify shift leader and/or technical employees if a workcenter is experiencing consistent issues, or has stopped cycling. Insure that all machine downtime (start times) are recorded.
