Machine Operator/Production I Our client is a worldwide leading diversified manufacturer of premium building products and related technology. We are hiring Machine operator/production workers who will operate or tend machines designed to cut expanded polystyrene blocks according to exacting standards of work order.ResponsibilitiesOperate and perform basic troubleshooting of glue and cutting machinesSet up, operate, and perform basic troubleshooting of laminators to include flyingknives, and ensuring that each machine is pre-positioned with purchased materialFollow daily work orders assigned to each lamination crewPackage and load all orders properly and ensure the highest quality of the finished productCommunicate the number of blocks required for a work order to the material handlerStarts cutting machine and adjusts the line speedPositions block on slabber and feed block into the cutting machine, cutting foam according to correct dimensions and square-ness per work orderReceives and reads work orderStacks, sorts, and bundles cut material according to the bill of lading instructionsQualificationsAbility to follow instructions and read production ordersPrior experience operating a forklift preferredMust pass drug testing and background checkingProduction, Construction or Manufacturing experienceAbility to use measuring gauges like tape measures
