Machine Packer - Cenveo Worldwide Limited : Job Details

Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We are hiring immediately Machine Packers for our manufacturing plant in Williamsburg, PA.Machine Packer Pay/Schedule:

• $16.72/hr + shift premium $0.35/hr.
• 12 hour shifts - 2 days and 2 nights required : Day shift 7am7pm / Night shift 7pm7am
• Mandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during this busy season
• Opportunity to be promoted to a Machine Adjuster position if adequate mechanical skills are demonstrated after 90 days with the possibility to earn up to $21.71/hr if successful progress is being made based on the requirements for the position.

Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

• Loads paper on to automatic hand-fed orweb envelope folding machines; pack finished product.
• Inspects quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel.
• Checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
• May be required to do rework on finished product; Cleans up work area during/end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned/required.

Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-

• Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
• Mental alertness; Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into machine.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds; Manual dexterity required to grasp objects.
• Exposure to arm/wrist fatigue; Exposure to noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
