Salary Range: $43,067 - $94,542 Full-time faculty salaries are based on an evaluation of education and related experience after a job offer has been accepted. Full-time faculty work 171 days during a nine-month academic year and receive excellent benefits including health insurance, life insurance, dental insurance, short and long-term disability, paid personal and sick leave, retirement savings plans, tuition waiver for employees and dependents, professional development funds, along with many optional benefit programs. **Please note, Initial Step placement is established by the MSCF contract in which sets salary limitations to what a new Faculty member is able to begin at. This will differ from the maximum salary range in this posting. Job Description Anoka Technical College is seeking a full-time evening instructor to join our Machine Tool Technology program. The core responsibilities of this role include instructing students within the established curriculum while providing constructive feedback to students and assessing their competencies. Additionally, the instructor will help develop and revise curriculum materials to ensure they remain up-to-date and in line with industry standards. This position also involves participating in department meetings, program advisory committee meetings, college-wide events, and other duties to maintain the program. Another key component of the role requires staying current with technical knowledge in the field through participation in professional development activities and engagement with professional organizations. Minimum Qualifications Education Requirement Two year diploma in machine tool technology/machinist. Occupational Experience Requirement Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in machine setup, programming, troubleshooting and operation of both manual and CNC equipment. Recency Requirement One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
