Also, helps maintain shop operations to meet local, federal, and Caterpillar guidelines. Work must be completed successfully within an acceptable time frame with a minimum amount of supervision. Responsible for assisting in loading and unloading any service customer tractors that are not fully operational, as well as, any service customer loose loads.Responsibilities: Follows verbal and written instructions from supervisor with little or no additional direction.Able to read and comprehend simple written instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Able to write simple correspondence.Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Helps load and unload any service customer tractors that are not fully operational.Help load and unload any loose loads that are for service customers.Maintains all oil and water separators to conform to local and federal laws.Maintain dirt collection area.Empty trash and metal bins in accordance with contamination control guidelines.Perform general maintenance in the shops.Perform inspection on Cat Inspect for all incoming customer machines.Keeps lot clean.
