Responsibilities • With limited supervision, performs intermediate level machining of parts and tools, typically on more than one machine. • Sets up and operates all available machine tools and performs progressive machining operations on work involving close tolerances.• Understands qualities of metals and alloys and applies that knowledge to parts being machined. • Understands and comprehends all forms of technical documents including: blue prints and drawings, written specifications, charts, tables, etc. • Skillfully uses all machinist hand tools and measuring instruments. • Fits and assembles components as necessary. • Sets up and lays out own work from blueprints, sketches and written specifications according to requirements.• Maintains a track record of high-quality work with low rework and scrap history. • Maintains high efficiencies and run rates for given machine. • Works safely and as part of a high performing team. • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications • High School diploma or GED equivalent required. • Minimum of 2 years related experience, training, licenses/certification or demonstrated ability to perform described position responsibilities.• Moderate physical effort consisting of standing, twisting, bending and frequent lifting, moving or turning average weight material is required. • Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Possess strong math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, including decimals and fractions. May also be required to effectively use personal computers, data management systems and software.

- Salary Range for this position based in Eugene, OR is $23.65/hr-$27.25/hr.
- This position is eligible for a 15% target Annual Cash Incentive Bonus Plan, based upon various factors including division performance.
- To help promote a healthy work/life balance, this position is eligible for 20 PTO days, 2 floating holidays and 11 paid holidays (prorated based on date of hire.)
