Machinist Conventional - 3rd shift - Centralia, MO - Hubbell Power Systems : Job Details

A Day In The Life Set-up / operate all machine tools in the EDM Room including, but not limited to, Ram's Wire's and CNC machining centers. Operate conventional mills, grinders, and lathes. Work to tolerance of / .0005 Produce tooling components and any other parts normally produced in the Tool Room through verbal instructions, drawings, sketch, and machine programs. Independently make own set-ups for all assignments. Interpret and edit CAD generated programs. Given direction by other assigned and authorized individuals in the department or organization. What will help you thrive in this role? Ability to lift and carry a 65 lb. part from waist level to waist level a distance of 3 feet at a rate of once per day. Ability to lift 50 lbs. filters and resin once per month. Ability to lift 80 lb. wire spools a distance of 3 feet at a rate of 2 times per week.
