Machinist - Apache Stainless Equipment : Job Details

Job Description: Summary of Position: Using detailed and complex blueprints, must be able to machine within acceptable quality standards various types of parts from raw material requiring the use of numerous machines, including lathes, milling machines, drills, etc. Position Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret complex blueprints.
• Set up and run all types of machining equipment, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, drills mills, etc.
• Use measuring and inspection devices consistent with the job (including, but not limited to calipers and micrometers). Determine if parts/fixtures are made within given tolerance.
• Order parts for equipment and maintain stock.
• Make short run tooling and fixtures.
• Work to tight tolerances and fine machine finishes.
• Program CNC machine.
• Deburr parts after they are manufactured.
• Assist supervisors, management and co-workers as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Requires the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization
• Strong collaborative and accommodation tendencies
• Ability to multi-task, managing a wide variety of priorities simultaneously with limited supervision
• Computer literate, preferably with experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs and ERP (familiarity with Epicor a definite plus)
• Effective written & verbal communication skills are required

Qualifications: High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. EEO IS THE LAW EEO IS THE LAW (Spanish)
