We proudly promote a diverse workforce with an inclusive culture that encourages creativity and a positive team environment.Job Summary:As a machinist, you will be responsible for the creation and repair of boat driveline components by operating a multitude of machinery. The work schedule is Monday through Friday 2:30 pm-10:30pm. Weekends and overtime will be scheduled as needed.What you'll do:-Safely operate various machines throughout machine shop which includes but is not limited to lathes, mills, welders, presses and saws.-Transport materials to appropriate workstation by utilizing overhead crane.-Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to transport materials to/from machine shop.-Must be able to read/comprehend technical documents and blueprints to allow for proper production of materials.-Perform manual MIG, TIG and stick welding.Create custom materials such as gaskets to ensure proper sealing of components.-Be able to access various vessel locations to perform measurements/inspections of driveline components.-Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and reactive maintenance on all machines.-Perform basic cleaning duties and maintain an orderly shop.What you'll need:-High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.-Ability to meet and maintain all qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.-Maintain reasonably regular and punctual attendance.-Compliance with all personnel policies and practices.-Ability to work alone for extended periods and in teams.Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
