Machinist - Advanced Materials Company : Job Details

Machinist FULL-TIME

$25/hr

- Perform machining/set-up operations accurately and timely.- Calibrate tools (gauges, torque wrenches) as per Mersen instructions.- Assist in inventory management and cycle counts.- Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and efficiency.- Follow all Mersen safety rules and ensure a safe work environment.- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.- Comply with MRP inventory and time management requirements.- Ensure workmanship meets or exceeds customer specifications.

Schedule

Shift start: 6:00AM Shift length: 10 hours Monday - Thursday (6-4:30 w/ Friday Overtime possible)

Qualifications

• Can lift 35 lbs

Must have the ability to read and understand engineered drawings.Must be able to safely operate hand tools such as impact wrenches, torque wrenches, magnetic drills, etc…Must be able to safely utilize lifting and rigging equipment.Must be able to safely operate a tow motor.Must be able to work with others in a way that does not cause discord or create a hostile working environment.Must have general machining knowledge and understanding of the equipment required.
