Job Location: Wisconsin Centrifugal - Waukesha, WI

Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $21.22 - $31.85 Hourly

Description

* Set up, adjust and operate tracer lathes, cutoff saw and miscellaneous machining equipment to perform a variety of machining operations of a roughing nature and standardized work to close tolerances.

* Speeds, feeds and operational sequences usually established but operator may adjust or modify within standard machining practice.

* Work from routings, process sheets and blueprints to perform roughing operations. Select tools to meet requirements and operating conditions.

* Ensure heat number traceability.

* Initiate process change requests and maintain accurate records of operations.

* Perform machine clean-outs and other general labor as needed.

Qualifications

* General knowledge of machining practices.

* Knowledge of shop math and blueprints.

* Experience with precision measuring instruments.

* Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. and perform repetitive, heavy pushing and pulling.
