Machinist - Tier III - All Shifts - Micromatic LLC : Job Details

Essential Job Functions (Fundamental Job Duties):

• Ability to operate machines to tier level

• Machine parts to required tolerances

• Inspect parts as necessary to meet quality requirements using devices such as calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges

• Perform all necessary hand operations such as filing, fitting, and scraping

• Checks dispatch list for next job

• Cleans machine table & machine

• Sweeps floor and mop

• Record labor for job by keying data into terminal

• Any additional job tasks assigned by management

Education: What is the minimum education level necessary to complete the essential functions of the position?

• High School or equivalent
• Machine Trade School Certification or equivalent work experience
• Applicable math background and skills
• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills

Mandatory Qualification Requirements What are the mandatory qualification requirements for the position?

• Must be proficient in skills and knowledge identified in Tier I and II requirements

• Demonstrated advanced blueprint reading skills, must be able to interpret any blueprint no matter how complicated

• Must be proficient in CNC machines, this includes running any machine assigned, completing set-up on any job assigned using set-up instructions

• Can load programs and edit accordingly to match tool placements in the machine

• Must have a strong understanding of tool usage and be capable of determining correct tool for any application

• Must be able to troubleshoot tooling problems in case of problems with materials or finishes

• Must be able to make correct and necessary edits to any program that is being run
