At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia's deepest underground mines.Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people including contractors.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and reliable Magazine Keeper to join our team. This critical role involves managing and securing explosives in accordance with strict safety and regulatory guidelines.In this role you will be responsible for:The safe & effective management of the underground magazineAccurate record keeping of the explosives registerReceiving in & booking out of explosivesGranting access to the magazine for authorized persons onlyManagement of the stores area ensuring its cleanliness and that all stock levels are well maintainedControl access to the stores area and its allocation of equipment (records management)About you:Current Australian Driver's Licence (minimum P2 or equivalent)Current Unsupervised Handling Licence (UHL) or willingness and ability to obtain prior to commencementA current security clearance card (SC) or willingness and ability to obtain prior to commencementA strong focus on achieving targets with a high ability to plan workConditions:This position will be offered on a 7/7 roster, and is a residential only position - requiring relocation to Cobar NSW.Relocation costs and subsidised housing will be provided to the successful candidate to assist in relocating to Cobar.Why Join CSA?You will be entitled to a comprehensive range of benefits aimed at attracting and retaining our most valuable asset, our people.
