Job Title: Mail Clerk Employment Type: Contract Work Hours: 37.5 hrs./week Work site: 100% Onsite Location: One State Street Plaza, NY, NY 10004 Job Duration: 1 Year Closing: 11/12/2024. Client is seeking a Mail Clerk to work in the Mortgage Banking Unit. Minimum Candidate Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Proof of Eligibility to work in NYS.
- Candidate must have at least one year of experience in clerical support related work.
- One year of Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, mail merge, formulas to compare spreadsheets).
Job Duties:
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, including correspondence from Mortgage Loan Originators.
- Open, time-stamp, and read mail to determine appropriate routing.
- Route mail using designated electronic mail folders.
- Maintain tracking reports and keep accurate records of mail received.
- Complete necessary forms and documentation associated with mail handling.
- Ensure mail-related records are kept up-to-date and organized.
In addition, the candidate must possess and/or have the ability to:
- Work individually and as part of a team.
- Track and manage reporting projects without daily oversight.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including working experience with Microsoft O365.
- Manage varied tasks as assigned.
Miscellaneous Information:
- Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Shift timing to be determined during the interview.
- Client does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by subway or bus.
- Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams
- Training will be provided.
