Each day, the company handles over 1,900 flights, moves over 8,500 tons of cargo, books over 16,000 hotel stays, and uplifts over 320,000 meals.The Mail Operations Manager is responsible for the management, directing, and leading in the overall operations of the mail loading/unloading and delivery of truck and aircraft container activity/functions.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan work direction and leadership staff for efficient workflow, maximum work output, and timely deliveries to meet changing customer needs and staffing vacanciesOversee daily workflow of incoming and outgoing mail and related itemsMonitor policy and operating proceduresPoint of contact for mail operations related questionsPrioritize and manages the schedule for daily tasks and functions for all areasAssure proper operation, maintenance, of all systemsResponsible to train and assign othersWork plans: delegating scheduled assignments to staffOversee planning, implementation, and delegation of workflow in all areas of departmentEnsuring that established processes and procedures are followedProvide leadership and direction to staffRequired to conduct monthly audits and stop observation to ensure compliance with processes and proceduresEnsure timely reporting requirements are met dailyOther duties as requiredTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
