Job Summary:

As a Mail Processing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient mail handling operations. Your responsibilities will include preparing labels, calculating mail weights, and adhering to mailing directives provided by our clients. Additionally, you will assist in processing completed journals via our mailing equipment, ensuring compliance with USPS regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Familiarity with basic computer operations
  • Proficient in managing paperwork
  • Willingness to obtain pallet jack certification
  • Ability to meet deadlines and schedules set by clients
  • Willingness to stand for extended periods on the production floor
  • Capability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 70 pounds

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, Sunday - Thursday (12:00am - 8:00am). Some overtime may be required.
  • 3rd shift: 12:00 am - 8:00 am
  • Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week
  • Shift Differential: 8% of base wage for all hours worked, including overtime
