POSITION SUMMARY: The Mail & Inventory Clerk will process incoming and outgoing mail for distribution. Maintain a working relationship with the inventory vendor, departments, and branches to ensure inventory needs are met. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:
- Pick up and deliver mail to and from the post office daily
- Sort mail, including packages, by department/office and category. Deliver mail to department/office mail bin ensuring items are distributed accurately
- Work as the liaison between F&M and Inventory vendor ordering low inventory items, assisting users with training, troubleshooting and, setting up and removing users
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares documents and other items for shipping
- Weighs mail and calculates correct postage
- Uses inserter and postage meter machines to process and mail
- Fills out mailing labels, including research proper country codes for international mail and regional zip codes for domestic mail
- Maintains inventory of mailroom supplies
- Sorts, distributes, and maintains records for returned mail
- Manages what items to add or remove on inventory vendor website and works closely with the Marketing department for Logo items
- Assists with acquisitions, mergers, and new offices by ordering supplies and coordinating delivery of these supplies
- Performs monthly review of inventory vendor invoice reports as well as user invoices
- Orders and manages breakroom snack items, including Pop machine and AED maintenance
- Performs monthly general ledger and checking account reconcilements
- Assists in special projects and tasks for the department as directed
- Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulatory compliance that apply to position.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic math and computer skills Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills Ability to pass a background check Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Certificates and Licenses Valid Driver's License Notary Public Commission ** This position is scheduled to work Monday - Saturday, generally with a day off and / or occasional extended hours as needed to accommodate the flow of business.
