ABOUT THE JOB:The Mainstream Housing Program Coordinator reports to the Operations Coordinator for the Leased Housing Division. The Coordinator will provide individual counseling and housing search services for non-elderly disabled individuals who qualify for Section 8 assistance. Responsibilities include preparing program materials and working with partner agencies to implement this program.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in social sciences or public administration is required. A graduate degree in Social Work, Human Services, Law, or a related field is preferred. Must possess excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, and demonstrate competence working with low-income, culturally diverse individuals. Experience with computer software programs is required. Knowledge of the real estate and social service delivery systems for individuals with disabilities in the Boston area is desired.
