Erie Family Health Centers, a top workplace in Chicago and suburbs, is looking for a valuable addition to our Facilities team! The Maintenance Assistant will perform routine maintenance and general daily cleaning functions in all facility areas as necessary.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Checks online ticketing system first thing in the morning each day. Checks again periodically during the day, and before going home at the end of the shift to ensure that all tickets are viewed in a timely manner.
* Housekeeping duties as required.
* Sets up rooms for meetings, as required, per online ticketing system.
* Performs grounds keeping, such as snow removal and salting, cutting grass and weeding, sweeping, graffiti removal and other seasonal tasks.
* Reports any repairs needed to Facilities Supervisor.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
Skills and Knowledge
* Basic reading and math competency
* Basic computer knowledge required.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds required.
* Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation required.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Basic mechanical abilities preferred.
