Job Description

To assist in the day to day maintenance of all Campus Rec facilities, equipment and grounds for the benefit of the members and the university community.

Primary Responsibilities

* Assist with preventative maintenance and general repair of fitness equipment including prescribed routine cleaning and inspection of equipment.

* Assist with event set-up and tear down.

* Assist with outdoor field and grounds maintenance responsibilities.

* Assist with locker maintenance.

* Works cooperatively with other area of the department to achieve established goals.

* Promotes a safe, clean, and functional environment.

Mandatory attendance at training meetings. Performs other work as assigned.

Qualifications

* Outstanding customer service skills.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to use independent judgment.

* Strong problem-solving skills.

* Mechanical aptitude.

* Ability to work holidays and breaks preferred.

* CPR/First Aid/ AED certification required.

* Able to lift 50 lbs.

* Must meet University requirements for enrollment and student employment.

Minimum Education High School Diploma Pay Rate 8.50
