Who You Are: Our Maintenance Technician will be someone who has an all hands-on deck mentality and doesn't hesitate to help their team wherever needed. They enjoy completing a variety of tasks throughout the day, can manage competing priorities, takes pride in a job well done, and can calmly tackle emergency repairs.Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience working on a farm, outdoors, or doing some general handy work (even if it's just helping your family or friends!).
• A team player who takes initiative and is willing to jump in wherever is needed.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Comfortable with working outside year-round.
• Ability to use basic computer programs and phone apps to manage projects.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Current unencumbered Oregon driver's license and access to personal vehicle.
• Ability to pass a background check and DMV check.
• At least 18 years of age.

Preferred

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role completing general maintenance and janitorial work.
• Experience working for a family-owned business and the understanding of the quirks that come with it!

What You'll Do: The Facilities Technician will assist in performing work in the following areas: painting, carpentry, repair, lawn maintenance, janitorial, and light construction. This will include a mix of working indoors and outside.Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Janitorial support for facilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Perform general maintenance inside and outside of facilities; perform maintenance painting; install & repair appliances; perform necessary clean-up work.
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance in accordance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Other duties as assigned.
