Maintenance Associate/ Mechanical - Instant Brands : Job Details

DescriptionPosition Summary: The purpose of this job is to perform a very wide variety of electrical maintenance tasksincluding but not limited to mechanical and electrical work such as: installation, fabrication, assembly, set-up,diagnosis, troubleshooting maintenance work on plant equipment, services and facilities requiring the use of handand maintenance tools and skills. Work from blueprints, sketches, written and verbal instructions.Primary Responsibilities:•Operates a wide variety of equipment such as: various saws, benders, breaks, pipe threaders,drills, gauges, meters, feelers, voltmeters, micrometers, industrial fork trucks, hand trucks,machine tools, welding equipment, carts, ladders, lifts, etc.•Provides cross-training for other skills•May be a member of a work group (team) that utilizes some business skills such as: writing andentering work orders, time distribution, quotes and estimates, use of computer in performance ofduties, etc.•Works independently•Coordinates PMs, rebuilds, shutdowns, and other employees as required•Displays innovativeness when dealing with complex problems•Trains other in maintenance techniques designed for sensitive processes•Works as a member of a team•Writes process documentation•Prepares maintenance projects and layouts•Interfaces with customers, vendors, and suppliers•Responsible for the quality of work, timeliness, work methods, practices, etc.Required Qualifications:•GED or High School Diploma•2 year Electrical Technician / Electrician degree preferred•General understanding of electrical theory and best practices•Effort equivalent to handling 16-50 lbs., works overhead in tiring awkward positions, performs bench workrepairing instruments and motors, etc.•Repairs machinery including troubleshooting live circuitry•Hot Environment•Equipment used/mental exertion with computersDemonstrates and Lives Corelle Brand's Values and Behaviors:•Act with Integrity and Humility: Tell the Truth; Give Credit•Be Accountable: Keep Commitments; Communicate•Continuously Improve: Ask questions; Challenge the Status Quo•Grow Our People; Seek & Give Feedback; Recognize Others•Wow!
