What We are Looking For

Southern Belle Vacation Rentals is looking for a competent, energetic, advanced communicator to join our team as a Maintenance Coordinator. This person is a hard–working individual who will embody our values while ensuring the maintenance needs of all Southern Belle Vacation Rentals properties are met.

Local applicants only within 45 minutes of Savannah.

• Responsible for assigning and closing maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Coordinating with maintenance technicians to oversee all repairs and general upkeep ofSouthern Belle properties
• Travel to property to take photos of damages, or repairs, as needed
• Communicate with homeowners on issues with their home
• Coordinate with different vendors to schedule work at properties
• Communicate with upcoming guests or current guests in house to ensure permission is granted for technician access
• Works closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to ensure homeowners are billed correctly on monthly statements for the work that has been completed

Skills and Qualifications

• Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, and texts
• Excellent customer service
• Display emotional intelligence and empathy
• Ability to work well under pressure in fast - paced environment
• Excellent time management skills with ability to change activity frequently and manage interruptions
• Technical computer skills, specifically MAC and Google Chrome Browser
• Software knowledge within Streamline and Ring Central
• Typing skills, sixty words per minute
• Must provide own transportation
• Basic knowledge of appliance repair, electrical systems, plumbing repair, HVAC repair, painting, and carpentry skills

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
• Reach overhead and below the waist
• Bend, stoop, squat and kneel
• Can push, pull and lift up to 25 pounds

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma required, some college preferred. Must speak fluent English.
