Job Description :
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Coordinator AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:
  • Reports directly to the Director of Facilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Utilize work order programs such as Jira to efficiently coordinate and track maintenance tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain commercial electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Install and troubleshoot facility equipment as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and contribute to a scheduled maintenance timeline to ensure proper facilities upkeep, including all machinery, fixtures, HVAC units, electrical and plumbing infrastructure, and equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with department managers to prioritize repairs and general maintenance needs on equipment and building infrastructure.
  • Complete various building repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections in all public areas, promptly reporting potential issues to the manager on duty.
  • Ensure all doors, windows, entrances, and exits are securely closed and locked when you are the last person to leave the building.
  • Coordinate with the groundskeeping team to remove debris, leaves, snow, and other obstructions from parking lot areas as necessary.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of experience in a Facility Technician or Maintenance role within a manufacturing or similar facility.
  • Proficiency in plumbing and electrical systems is required.
  • Experience with work order management programs like Jira is highly preferred.
  • Must be proactive, possess a strong work ethic, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
  • A passion for the industry and alignment with Solar Therapeutics' mission.
  • Initiative to independently take on tasks without direct oversight.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license or state ID.
  • Must be able to pass all required background checks.
  • Ability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Frequently moves up to 30+ pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
  • This job function may include being in a stationary position, or moving for extended periods of time.
