Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI), an Industry-leading Facilities Management company, is actively recruiting for an ambitious team member for our Maintenance Department Coordinator position. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position is located at our Client's facility at a premier Senior/Retirement Community -

Blue Skies Of Texas , supporting both the EAST (78227 primarily) & WEST (78245) campuses, situated on the FAR west side of San Antonio, Texas.

The starting pay range for this position is $15 - $16.50 p/hr, depending on current, relevant skills & experience.

Coordinator must be proficient working in Microsoft Office Suite programs and have a good working knowledge in excel; must be comfortable learning new systems and programs. Important: the ideal Coordinator will possess experience in purchase orders/invoicing, and CMMS/Maintenance Work Order Systems; comfortable learning the reporting process for any system(s).

We will train on the systems/processes we utilize!

Coordinator is responsible for receiving, dispatching, and following up on maintenance work orders, communicating with business partners and vendors, soliciting quotes for services, invoice veri?cation and updating work order status.

* Reviews and processes invoices, ensuring alignment with quoted and contractual rates

* Provides clerical and project assistance

* Assist with inquiries regarding repairs, invoicing, and maintenance PM's

* Answers telephones, emails, and written correspondence

* Monitor and maintain accurate records, databases, and other document

* Maintains records of maintenance and other facility activity

* Provide direction to vendors as needed and ensures vendors comply with our

policies and procedures.

This person will be performing various maintenance support & administrative functions, between both campuses, to support the Maintenance Department(s), as needed, will cross train with other team members to ensure coverage at all times. In this role, there is plenty of room to potentially learn and grow with the organization! This person, along with all VRI team members, will be a champion for Safety at all facilities!

Hours to start out: Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm

Requirements

Requirements:

* Facilities experience is preferred.

* Experience with CMMS system, and/or invoice processing is a plus.

* Strong customer service and problem-solving aptitude. Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision

* Attention to detail, self-motivated, and strong organizational skills

* Confident yet likable/approachable team-player

* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, consistent high-volume environment

* Professional interaction and collaboration and clear communication with other Team Members

* Punctuality and Dependability is a MUST

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required

* Must be physically able to do the following:

* Sit for long periods of time

* Work with telephones, computer, hand-held communication devices, and other office equipment

* Lift up to 25-40 lbs regularly

* Wear PPE when required

* Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

* Flu vaccination or exemption, required

* All other projects and duties as assigned
