Job Description – Maintenance Director
The Maintenance Director must have demonstrated ability to supervise multiple staff at multiple locations. Additionally, they must be able to implement systems for how maintenance tasks are assigned, completed, and reported on by the organization including how that business will meet or exceed Occupational Safety and Health and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
Sets overall maintenance department goals, processes, or procedures to accomplish company objectives.Ensures all health, safety, and regulations are followed.Creates a preventive maintenance system as well as procedures to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.Oversees, motivates, and reviews maintenance supervisors including management of training and professional development.Ability to do reports, solicit bids and work with contractors.Delegates tasks and responsibilities to maintenance supervisors in an effective, positive, and efficient manner.Exhibits problem solving and team building skills.Experience
Carpentry skills (rough and finish) 10 – 15 yearsBoiler maintenance and repair 10 – 15 yearsPlumbing (repair and installation) 10 – 15 yearsStand pipe and sprinkler function 5 – 7 yearsPainting 10 – 15 yearsGeneral maintenance 10 – 15 yearsJob Type: Full-time
Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
